Catherine Wilson is an experienced oil painting restorer. Following many years as chief restorer at an established art company, she now works at home independently, under the names of LUMINIS Oil Painting Restoration. Highly regarded by her many clients, much of her work is for private clients who simply want their favourite paintings refreshed, but also include commissions for larger establishments.

Commissions include large works in situ. For example... Ecclesiastical (some of it really big stuff), military museums and works in restaurants, public houses, and conference centres which for various reasons cannot be removed - (.i.e. the ' really big stuff') or perhaps to avoid disruption.

...Take a picture from the wall after a couple of years and see the clean patch behind it... where is the dirt?... on the picture of course.

...And what about that (formally unfashionable) "heirloom", banished years ago to the attic - or even worse - the shed - which has now become desirable, but shock -- horror -- cobwebs, dust and holes have invaded this- now precious and beautiful-- painting. What to do???
